Hey all, my humans,
It is currently 21:34 and I am sitting in my uncles front room in Runaway Bay, Jamaica as my cousin Joshua lays on the hard and uncomfortable floor snoring away.
(this is annoying to type as I have on acrylic nails and I hardly ever wear acrylics but I'll persevere)
W H Y A M I I N J A M A I C A ?
So first things first, I booked a last minute flight to Jamaica shortly after hearing the sad news that my Grandad had passed away. Byron Stanberry was a hard-working Jamaican man that flew to England with his Wife (now deceased) Ruby Stanberry in the 1960s. In his older age my gramps moved back to Jamaica to relax and enjoy the beautiful country that he called home. Some years ago he started losing his memory and when found would tell people he was on his way to Piccadilly, his knowledge of England never left him. The last time I saw him was 3 years ago at his nursing home, he didn't recognise his 3 eldest children whom I was with at the time. When told that he was standing infront of his eldest Son Munroe he stretched his arm out from his head to Munroe's as he could remember that Munroe was of a similar height as him. He smiled when told he was also with his children Eleanor, Errol and granddaughter (me). He remembered the names but not the faces.
on May 29th 2017 he passed away. I was at the train station when my aunt called me to tell me the news and despite feeling sadness in my heart I also felt joy that he was not in pain anymore. He was 96, he lived a long and eventful life. Despite living in a different country to my Grandad my whole life it fills me with joy to know that I have great memories of my mother and Nan taking me to visit him in Brown's Town when I was a youngster.

The question I am unable to avoid when I see anyone who follows my blog in real life. I have a new fun cousin video coming out on 18/06/17 which I can't wait for you all to see. On the personal video side I still do not feel like I have found my YouTube niche or where I fit in. I don't know where I want to take my YouTube journey or what kind of content I want to put out and for this reason I am not going to put out anything I am not 100% about. When I figure out my YouTube vibe you will know about it and I'll sing it from the rooftops so bare with me. See you on the 18th YouTube fam.
